In the spirit of continuous improvement, Displaytech has implemented material upgrades and minor production process updates for our standard lineup of monochrome graphic COG modules. These improvements have resulted in cosmetic differences when compared to the previous revision of the parts listed below. Additionally, we are evaluating operational improvements that may impact the packaging of these products. Please note all products will continue to meet Displaytech performance and quality standards.
Please inform your IQC team of the below changes to future product shipments:
• LCD module may not have black tape covering the chip on glass driver IC
• Packaging may vary due to implementation of future operational improvements
• Change in backlight brightness and masking of viewing area to reduce light leakage
