240x320 2.8" TFT Display with High Efficient LED Backlight and Optional Touch Screen

The DT028BTFT series is the latest revision for the 2.8" TFT LCD. The improvement in this version is an increased efficiency due to new LEDs within the backlight. This efficient 2.8 inch TFT LCD has a 240 x 320 resolution and is available as non-touch or with optional resistive touch or capacitive touch display. The TFT uses the Ilitek ILI9341 single-chip driver to drive the display. The 2.8” TFT LCD is best interfaced either in 8-bit or 16-bit mode via MCU parallel or RGB interfaces. The display can also be interfaced via a 3-wire or 4-wire serial peripheral interface (SPI).

Sample Code

The provided display driver example code is designed to work with Microchip, however it is generic enough to work with other micro-controllers. The code includes display reset sequence, initialization and example PutPixel() function.
