Please note the following details regarding the Coronavirus outbreak in China.
As of yesterday, the local government has mandated that all Guangdong factories and municipalities stay closed for one extra workweek during the Chinese New Year. We will honor this request and plan to reopen our campus on February 10th, 2020. In addition, our staff will sterilize and deep clean the factory on the first day of resuming work.
Our policy for employees who traveled to the Hubei Province is that they remain in isolation outside of the factory for a period of 14 days. If there are no issues during that time they can return to work.
We are currently asking our key suppliers which date they will resume operations. We will let you know if there are any supply chain issues that need to be resolved as soon as possible. Please have patience as most factories are completely closed until next Monday.
In the event it is required, please be reminded that SEACOMP currently has a second factory operational in the Philippines. It is premature to determine moving additional programs to this facility but it is an option we will consider if needed.
Finally, please know the SEACOMP Team will take every measure to allow for minimum disruption to shipments while working to ensure the safety of our team and their families.
